Did you know that as well as expert peer support training, at March on Stress we also provide one-day course options designed to improve awareness and provide tools for supporting and improving mental health in the workplace.
Our training options include a workshop suitable for all staff – ‘Mental Health in the workplace: Awareness & Action’ (formerly known as our AAIM workshop).
Georgina Godden, March on Stress Business Development Director, said: “This workshop has been designed by our mental health experts to address occupational or traumatic stress at work.
“We work with clients to provide content relevant to their needs, with the aim of providing delegates the awareness they need to understand mental health disorders and their symptoms. The workshop also includes simple tools for delegates to take action in building their own resilience and supporting others.
“In addition, March on Stress offers training for organisational leaders through our ‘Mental Health for Leaders: Awareness and Team Resilience’ workshop - formerly leadership awareness.
“This training helps leaders to understand the impact of mental health on both an organisation and individuals and can again be either trauma or occupationally focused to meet the needs of the organisation. It gives leaders the time and space necessary to discuss and practice their approach to supporting their people psychologically.
“Both workshops fit in with the evidence-based concepts of TRiM and StRaW®, ensuring people up and down an organisation are mental health aware and resilient, with access to support.”
