‘Evaluating an intervention addressing stress in emergency department clerical staff’ – research published

A new paper has been published to evaluate interventions in addressing stress, with the research focused on emergency department clerical staff.

March on Stress Director, Professor Neil Greenberg, said: “This new research supports the view that having mental health savvy management working with their staff teams to improve psychological wellbeing is effective in improving staff’s ability to cope with stressful jobs.

“Other research has previously shown the significance of leadership in the workplace on the mental health of staff. This is something we at March on Stress advocate in the training and support we offer to organisations, including through our leadership awareness sessions.”
