Employee Assistance European Forum annual conference

Professor Neil Greenberg is speaking at the Employee Assistance European Forum (EAEF) annual conference in Madrid tomorrow, Friday 19 June 2015.

With the conference theme of 'duty of care in the workplace - the role of employee assistance programmes', he will kick off day two of the event with a keynote presentation on the organisational management of traumatic stress.

Discussing employee assistance programmes (EAPs), Professor Greenberg said: "EAPs which provide services to trauma exposed employers can play an important role in supporting organisational resilience.

"These roles may include providing evidence-based training to individuals and managers and the provision of high quality trauma focused treatment for the minority of trauma exposed individuals who require it."

The EAEF brings together employee assistance professionals from across 23 European countries and works closely with EAP associations around the world.
