March on Stress News

Upcoming training dates

Added on the 22nd July 2015

We will be back in Exeter this October for our next TRiM all comers dates.

Join us for TRiM Practitioner training on 12 and 13 October and TRiM Manager training on 14 and 15 October.

TRiM Practitioner training is the foundation level of TRiM training. It enables TRiM Practitioners to identify psychological risk factors in their colleagues that might otherwise go unnoticed. The training covers the basics of trauma psychology, how to plan for traumatic events both before and immediately afterwards and how to conduct a psychological risk assessment. Practitioners are encouraged to use already existing personnel management systems to assist normally distressed individuals to recover and, where necessary, ensure that those who require.

TRiM Managers co-ordinate an organisation’s TRiM response; ensure that Practitioners are suitably managed and supervised; carry out TRiM briefings and induction training for all staff; carry out annual Practitioners’ refresher training and advise their organisation on TRiM policy and procedure.

You can book to attend one or both courses. To attend the TRiM Manager course you must have previously completed TRiM Practitioner training. Discounts are available if booking both courses together.
