Our next Advanced Mentoring Skills workshop takes place in London on Friday 29th January 2016.
This one day course was designed by mental health professionals, including March on Stress Clinical Director Professor Neil Greenberg, with a focus upon stress reduction techniques, strategies to overcome resistance to referral and treatment, and problem solving skills.
Professor Greenberg said: “This training is an insightful and practical course to give attendees skills to help them in their everyday roles.
“It doesn’t make delegates mental health professionals but provides useful practical tools and knowledge. It includes a variety of supportive techniques to help colleagues who have experienced challenging events and is particularly suited to those in supervisory or managerial positions.
“A number of our Trauma Risk Management (TRiM) delegates have gone on to do the AMS course and it’s a great add on to this, but equally we have seen non-TRiM trained clients gain huge benefit from the AMS training.”
