TRiM courses well received by Afghan charity

The March on Stress team was delighted to deliver training to charitable organisation – the Aga Khan Foundation (AKF) Afghanistan – recently.

Operations Director Gavin Rogers, along with TRiM trainer Ed Jennings, travelled to Kabul to deliver TRiM (Trauma Risk Management) training to 16 TRiM Practitioners and four TRiM Managers earlier in July.

Gavin said: “We were made to feel really welcome by the AKF team in Afghanistan and it was a great opportunity to provide TRiM training to people involved in such important charitable work, with the potential traumatic incidents they face in the course of their work.

“Feedback to the training was overwhelmingly excellent, showing that charitable workers are appreciative of the TRiM programme we deliver. We look forward to continuing to support AKF Afghanistan as they support their people through the introduction of TRiM.”
