New role at Royal College of Psychiatrists for March on Stress Director

Professor Neil Greenberg, March on Stress Managing Director, has been elected as the Chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists Special Interest Group in Occupational Psychiatry.

The Special Interest Group in Occupational Psychiatry provides a forum for members to come together and will be expertly led by Professor Greenberg in his new role.

He said: “I am delighted to have been elected and look forward to working with my colleagues in psychiatry on this important area. I hope we can continue to share ideas, best practice, and latest evidence to continue to develop the really important field of occupational psychiatry.”

As well as his role at March on Stress, and his new role with the Royal College of Psychiatrists, Professor Greenberg is a Professor of Defence Mental Health with King’s College London, an expert advisor to Hostage UK, on the board of the Forces in Mind Trust and a former President of the UK Psychological Trauma Society.

Professor Greenberg also remains the Royal College of Psychiatrists lead on military and veterans’ mental health.

He has written and contributed to more than 200 published journals and articles.
