Professor Greenberg presents at UKPTS conference

March on Stress founder and director, Professor Neil Greenberg, presented a workshop at the UK's Psychological Trauma Society (UKPTS) conference in Cardiff on 6th December about the organisational management of traumatic stress.

The workshop, which forms part of the European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ESTSS) certificate in psychotraumatology, was attended by around fifty delegates. The interactive session received excellent feedback and delegates left with a better understanding of the rationale and mechanisms for supporting staff who are predictably placed in harm's way.

Professor Greenberg, who has been the Secretary for the ESTSS and is currently an executive board member of the UKPTS, developed the certificate module himself using up to date research findings as well as his considerable experience of working with individuals who have been exposed to traumatic situations.
