Military and veterans mental health discussed at House of Commons event

Professor Neil Greenberg, Director and Founder of March on Stress, was given the prestigious opportunity to speak at the House of Commons earlier this week.

Professor Greenberg, an academic, occupational and forensic psychiatrist, has more than 23 years of military experience and was speaking at the UK Defence Forum dinner about the mental health of military personnel and veterans. Attendees at the event included MPs and House of Lords Peers.

As well as his March on Stress role, Professor Greenberg is the Royal College of Psychiatrists Lead for Veterans’ Mental Health. Topics discussed included priority healthcare for veterans, stigma and the impact of military service on family members as well as service personnel themselves.
